An 18-year-old youngster saved after 26 days of treatment
Cases where patients consume poison by mistake are quite challenging. Our doctors deal with utmost care when treating such cases. Our doctors witnessed one such case this year. An 18-year-old youngster from Amrutvel village consumed a poisonous substance by mistake and was moved to a private hospital for treatment. After not noticing significant visible improvements the youth was moved to Shantabaa General Hospital. Dr Keval Adreja from the emergency department admitted the patient and put him on a ventilator in the I.C.U. After extensive care by our physician Dr Vijay Wala, the patient came out of a coma after 4 days. After 26 days the patient was treated and discharged from Shantabaa General Hospital.
The father of the patient expressed his gratitude for the treatment. He was thankful for the treatment which would have taken lakhs of rupees in private hospitals but in Shantaba General Hospital they received the best quality ealthcare without any charge.
In a heart-wrenching scenario, a farm worker from Amreli experienced the delicate arrival of a newborn, weighing a mere 960 grams. The infant faced immediate health complications, struggling with breathing difficulties and a slowing heartbeat. Swift and decisive action ensued as the medical team, led by Dr. Miral Shingala, Dr. Jaydeep Patel, and their
dedicated staff, promptly admitted the fragile newborn to the Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U.). Employing intubation and a ventilator, the medical team worked tirelessly to stabilize the newborn’s health.
After three days of intensive care and treatment under the expertise of Dr. Shingala, Dr. Patel, and their committed team, the newborn showed remarkable progress. Overcoming the critical phase, the infant’s health improved significantly, ultimately reaching a point where discharge from the I.C.U. was deemed safe. This case exemplifies the crucial role played by dedicated medical professionals in navigating and successfully resolving extremely critical health situations.
A 47-year-old lady from Pithvajal village of Amreli could not walk due to extreme pain in her waist nerves. She was unable to walk for the last 5 years. She took treatment in Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar and Rajkot.
At Shantabaa General Hospital she received extensive care in the OPD department from Dr Meet Naadpara. Following his advice she decided to go for spinal surgery. Apart from Dr Naadpara the surgeon team also had Dr Hitesh oradiya, Dr Priyank Patel, and Dr Naresh Chaudhary were present in this surgery.
The patient could not walk for 5 minutes before the surgery, but after the surgery, she is now able to walk for up to 30 minutes. According to the doctors’ advice, regular physiotherapy will help her walk normally again.
